Abu Dhabi resident bags Dh12m in Big Ticket draw

A resident of Abu Dhabi won Dh12 million on Wednesday (August 3) in the Big Ticket draw.

Rashid Ahmad, a Pakistani, won the multimillion-dirham prize after participating in the draw for the second time.

He bought the winning ticket 037909 at Abu Dhabi International Airport upon returning to the UAE after visiting his family in Lahore.

Ahmad said that he intends to use the money to pay off loans, settle debts, and cover the college expenses of his five children who are pursuing master’s and bachelor’s degrees.

Sajikumar Sukumaran from India took home the second-place prize of Dh1 million. He bought ticket no. 217852.

Sharon Cabello, a Filipino resident of Abu Dhabi, also left with her dream vehicle, a BMW Series 20.

One fortunate winner will take home the Mighty Dh20m prize at the next live draw in September.

Along with the Dh20m first prize, a second prize worth Dh1m, a third prize worth Dh100,000, and a fourth prize worth Dh50,000 each will also be given out. BKM/ Expat Media
