DUBAI – Four new Dubai Metro Stations will start operating from January 1, 2021, the Roads and Transport Authority has announced.
The metro stations are part of Route 2020, the extension of the Dubai Metro line from Jebel Ali Station to Expo 2020 station.
The initial operation phase would cover four stations, namely: Jebel Ali (interchange station), The Gardens, Discovery Gardens, and Al Furjan Stations. Three other remaining stations will be opened at a later date.

Length of journey: 6 minutes
Service frequency: 10 minutes at 6 trains per hour
Timings:
5am to midnight, Saturday to Wednesday
5am to 1am, Thursday
10am to 1 am, Friday
There will be 19 buses on four routes serving Route 2020 stations. Two of these routes will call at The Gardens Station, and the other two at Al Furjan Station. The taxi service will be available at the operating stations.
