19-year-old Tesla hacker, tech genius wants to move to UAE

David Colombo, the 19-year-old tech genius who hacked Tesla said he ‘wants to change the world’ after coming to Dubai by 2022.

The young tech genius who began coding at the age of 10, already owns a business and is a well-known cyber security expert.

He came to fame when he hacked more than 25 Tesla automobiles in 13 nations simply out of curiosity.

“I could have easily stolen a Tesla,” he said.

That hacking stunt alerted the entire world to take notice of the young tech genius — as well as the pressing issues of cyber threat.

Aside from Tesla, the teen found more vulnerabilities in the systems of major entities such as the US Department of Defense, and RedBull, among others.

With his incredible talent, the techpreneur now wants to combat the bad guys in the digital world and sees Dubai as the epicenter of it all because, as he puts it, “I’m motivated to change the world, and Dubai shares those aspirations.”

Colombo plans to relocate to Dubai by the end of the year and said that it is a “relief” to have found a place that shares his hopes for a better future — a place where he can achieve his objective of securing governments and private organizations from cyber threats. BKM/ Expat Media
