Ten Emirati women have planted the UAE flag at the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, to celebrate Emirati Women’s Day.
The women completed their climb up the mountain after a challenging six-day journey organized by Majalis Abu Dhabi.
“This trip serves as a testament to strong will of Emirati women and their ability to overcome various challenges,” the women said in a statement.
“It also aims to spread positive values, such as teamwork, determination and fearlessness in achieving goals, among women,” they added. ICA/Expat Media
