ABU DHABI – Budget airline Wizz Air’s first flight to the UAE landed at Abu Dhabi International Airport recently.
The inaugural Budapest-Abu Dhabi flight landed in the UAE capital on July 1.
Wizz Air plans to operate two routes to Abu Dhabi starting this month, with three more routes from Sofia, Katowice and Cluj-Napoca to open in September.
With these services, Wizz Air will connect these European cities with Abu Dhabi, said George Michalopoulos, Chief Commercial Officer of Wizz Air.
“Wizz Air’s ultra-low fares and route network will contribute to the further growth of Abu Dhabi’s tourism sector,” Michalopoulos said. ICA/Expat Media
