The UAE’s new jobseeker visa makes it easier for anyone to come to the country for the specific purpose of exploring job opportunities here.
The jobseeker visa is among new visas launched in 2022 as part of the UAE’s move to make its immigration policy more open to skilled professionals and talents.
Here’s what you need to know about the UAE jobseeker visa:
You do not need a sponsor or a host to get the jobseeker visa.
The visa is open to bachelor’s degree holders who are classified in the first, second or third skill level per the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation. Check the list here
Graduates of the top 500 universities in the world can also apply for the jobseeker visa.
The jobseeker visa is valid for 60 days, 90 days or 120 days.
The 60-day visa costs approximately Dh1,495.
You need to pay a refundable security deposit of Dh1,025 ($279)
Go to the website of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security.
