UAE offers condolences over victims of Pakistan train accident

The UAE has sent Pakistan its heartfelt condolences and pledged its support for the victims of the train accident that happened in the Nawabshah area of Sindh province which resulted in multiple deaths and injury.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) issued a statement expressing its deepest sympathies and condolences to Pakistan’s government and people, as well as to the families of the victims of this tragedy. It also wished all those injured a quick recovery.

The passenger train derailed, killing at least 30 people and injuring over 80 others in southern Pakistan on Sunday (August 6), local broadcaster Geo reported, citing a district official.

According to Geo, some individuals were still stuck in a train, and others had been sent to hospitals. Rescue teams had been sent, and train service to Sindh’s interior areas had been suspended. MFD/Expat Media
