Starting on Wednesday (June 19), a new parking law will be rolled out in Al Ain to regulate public parking in the emirate.

According to the Department of Municipalities and Transport, vehicles that are found illegally parked in the emirate will be towed away by Abu Dhabi Mobility.

Among those that will be towed are abandoned vehicles, vehicles without a number plate, or vehicles advertised for sale, as well as those parked without a permit or with an expired permit. The vehicles will be towed to the Al Ain Industrial Area.

Abu Dhabi Mobility urged the public to adhere to the emirate’s parking rules to avoid having their vehicles towed and fined. ICA/Expat Media
