A new “comprehensive service” to obtain a golden residency visa was launched by the Federal Authority for Identity and Nationality, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) to enhance the digital transformation of government services.
With a “one touch” feature, the new service makes the process easier and brief for the customers as it already unified all visa services through integrated packages.
ICP clarified that the new service would help complete the application for candidacy for golden residency, issuance of visas, regularization of status, and issuance of residency and identity, with the possibility of renewing them in only one step.
To benefit from this new service, the customer may visit ICP’s website www.icp.gov.ae, or the UAEICP smart application to obtain the golden package.
ICP also indicated that the golden residency program includes “talented individuals with competencies, researchers, outstanding students, doctors, specialists, creators, athletes, entrepreneurs, and investors in the economic and real estate sectors.”
It affirmed granting golden visas to specific groups and their family members to create an attractive environment, allowing talented individuals the opportunity “to work and settle to be part of the country’s success story.”
Moreover, the updated system for entry visas provides new and multiple purposes and options for customers who wish to visit the country with a flexible and extendable visit period of up to a year without requiring a guarantor or a host in the country.
This allows visitors and job seekers “to achieve their ambitions in the UAE and enjoy a safe and stable life.”
ICP emphasized that the updated visa system embodied the principles and fifty-year plan adopted by the wise leadership to advance the country during the next fifty years. RZSP/Expat Media
