UAE to deliver Covid-19 vaccines to countries badly hit by pandemic

DUBAI – The UAE will be delivering thousands of vaccines to countries struggling to cope with the Covid-19 pandemic.

The new initiative will be carried out by Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) and Tamouh Healthcare, which will take care of delivery and shipping expenses.

Dr. Mohammed Al Falahi, secretary-general of the ERC, said the initiative mirrors the vision of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed, the Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and chairman of Emirates Red Crescent, to boost humanitarian partnerships, particularly in health. ICA/Expat Media
