Sharjah: Missing French teen found

A French teenager who was reported missing in Sharjah has been found, according to Sharjah Police.

Meline Croiser, 17, was found on Tuesday (March 26) within 24 hours after her family reported her missing on Monday morning.

Her father said she disappeared from their home near Sharjah Grand Mosque in the early morning of Monday (March 25). Police deployed drones and inspected CCTV footage in the Al Suyoh suburb in Al Riqaibah for clues on her whereabouts.

Her family also circulated missing person posters in the area. Her distraught father told media the teen left a “troubling” note, while a close family friend described her as having a “fragile state of mind”.

According to Sharjah Police, police officers were able to find the girl after a comprehensive 24-hour search. She was found in good health, police said. ICA/Expat Media
