DUBAI – Former Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Afridi revealed he has contracted coronavirus and has been having body aches for a couple of days.
Afridi, 40, said he has been feeling unwell since Thursday and has tested positive for Covid-19. “My body had been aching badly”, he said, asking for “prayers for a speedy recovery”.
Last month, Afridi had helped a charity auction for coronavirus victims buy buying a bat owned by Bangladesh’s Mushfiqur Rahim for $20,000 (Dh73,450).
