Saudi Arabia: Video of young man assaulting an older man at a wedding goes viral

A video of a young man hitting an older man in the face at a wedding ceremony went viral on social media.

The Saudi Ministry of Interior released a statement detailing what transpired and stating that the attacker had been apprehended.

The ministry noted preliminary inference procedures revealed a previous dispute that caused the accident.

According to local media, the video showed several people standing in two rows facing each other, and one of the people delivered a speech in which he welcomed them and offered peace.

During the speech, the young man slapped an older man in the face without explanation.

The attendees finally intervened after the man assaulted the older man to contain the situation between the two parties. BKM/ Expat Media
