Ajman Police provide meals to 316 inmates’ families

As part of its efforts to help and improve inmates’ quality of life, Ajman Police donated Ramadan and Eid goods to 316 families on Sunday (April 24).

Lt-Col Muhammad Mubarak Al Ghafli, Director of Ajman Police’s Punitive and Reformatory Establishments (PRE), said the force is working with strategic partners to create initiatives and programs to help detainees and their families.

The contribution of the General Administration of PRE and charity organizations aided in the distribution of the Ramadan food supply.

To assure the happiness of the convicts, the police gave them 450 hygiene kits and equipment, as well as 1,000 copies of the Holy Quran.

Supporting detainees and meeting their needs, according to Al Ghafli, is important for their mental health while they serve their sentences. KMB/Expat Media
