DUBAI – Tourismo, a new app that integrates tourism and travel solutions with visa services, has signed a partnership deal with visa services provider Visa 10 in Dubai.
“Tourism is a multi-billion-dollar industry. Our vision is to create a platform where all travel and tourism enterprises can work together, and interface their packages, products, and any travel and tourism service,” said Michael Herrera, Founder and CEO of Tourismo.
The Philippine-made app will be officially launched in August, and is aimed at giving travelers and tourism services providers a platform to interact for hassle-free travel solutions.
Through the Tourismo app, travel agencies, hotels, airlines, restaurants, events organisers and other service providers can post their offers, while users can navigate the app to hunt for the best deals on travel or stay updated on event listings. With the integration of Visa 10, travelers will be able to pay for the processing of visas they require.
Visa 10 CEO Arifur Rahman said the partnership between Tourismo and Visa 10 will benefit both leisure and business travelers.
“I worked in the visa sector extensively and I realized that comprehensive services are really important with regards to delivering the right information for visas and travel,” Rahman said.
He said that the Visa 10 app will be integrated into the Tourismo app to allow users to quickly and seamlessly access and track visa service transactions with Visa 10.
“We want to make sure they have a fantastic experience when they are considering traveling abroad,” he said. ICA/Expat Media
