Pakistan demands Taliban rulers to prevent attacks after suicide bombing incident

A day after a suicide bombing in Pakistan’s southwest shocked and angered the nation, Pakistan demanded Afghanistan’s Taliban rulers stop the terrorist attacks from their territory.

The bombing killed four people and appeared to target police protecting polio workers in the area. Islamabad blamed the attack on the Pakistani Taliban fighters hiding across the Afghanistan border.

Authorities say the incident killed a police officer and three bystanders and wounded 23 others when the bomber detonated the bomb near a police truck. BKM/ Expat Media
