Tourists from more than 100 countries can travel to Oman for up to 14 days without a visa. The action, intended to strengthen the nation’s tourism sector, aims to attract more tourists to Oman.
Last October, the country announced visa-free entry for citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, provided that their resident visas are valid for at least three months.
The Oman Airports circular further stated that the relevant procedures must be followed before providing visas to restricted nationalities.
A list of countries whose citizens are qualified for this new policy has been made public by the Royal Oman Police (ROP). The following are listed below:
