ENGLAND – A British nurse has been charged with the murder of eight babies and attempted murder of 10 others.
Lucy Letby, 30, is due to appear in court on Thursday (November 12). Letby was arrested and charged over deaths at the neonatal unit at Countess of Chester Hospital in England.
She was arrested for a third time on Tuesday as part of an investigation that began in 2017. The British nurse was arrested in 2018 and 2019 but was released pending further investigation.
Letby worked at the unit as a student nurse during three years of training before qualifying as a children’s nurse in 2011.
