The dazzling displays of fireworks will take place from April 20 to 30, with a special pre-festival event happening at the Granaries in Floriana on April 13.

The Malta International Fireworks Festival is reminiscent of Malta’s rich history and tradition of firework artistry on the islands, that dates back to the 16th century. Fireworks are an integral part in Maltese village festas, and they cater for a wide range of interests.

Fireworks enthusiasts, tourists, families, photography professionals and culture seekers can all enjoy the wonderful displays of aerial and ground pyrotechnic artistry.

The festival will take place in various locations around Malta and Gozo, providing an opportunity to explore the island and witness the firework displays against iconic landmarks.

This year’s edition will include Valletta, Marsaxlokk, Mellieħa and even Nadur in Gozo. The Grand Finale will be taking place at Valletta’s majestic Grand Harbour.

With its breathtaking displays of fireworks, festive atmosphere and cultural significance, the festival offers a unique and unforgettable experience for all who attend.

Whether you are captivated by the beauty of fireworks, intrigued by Malta’s cultural heritage, or simply looking for a dazzling spectacle, the Malta International Fireworks Festival is sure to leave you with lasting memories.
