DUBAI – An investigation was underway on Sunday (March 8), a day after eight children died in a fire in Kuwait’s residential area, according to the Kuwait Fire Service Directorate.
Officials said the fire broke out on Saturday afternoon at a house in Kuwait’s Sabah Al Ahmad neighbourhood.
Firefighters were able to retrieve the bodies as well as rescue other victims, who were transferred to a nearby hospital. Some of the victims were reportedly in critical condition.
