KC Concepcion unfollows Kiko, Frankie Pangilinan on IG

Actress KC Concepcion has addressed rumours about unfollowing her stepfather Kiko Pangilinan and half-sister Frankie on Instagram.

In a Cristy Ferminute interview on Tuesday (August 29), KC opened up about her relationship with her blended family, saying she wants to avoid drama.

“There’s nothing wrong with unfollowing or following someone at certain times,” she said in Filipino, “It’s just hard when your family is in showbiz.”

She did not reveal the exact reason for the current strain in her relationship with her family, but explained that “I just want peace of mind, I want to be happy.. I want my family to be happy.”

“I want things to be light, to be happy. I don’t want drama,” she added in Filipino. KC emphasised that she is “very close” to her sisters and brother and that she loves her mother “no matter what happens”.

The actress also talked about the reunion concert of her parents, Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion at Mall of Asia Arena in October. “I never imagined that it would happen. I’m just really happy,” she said.

KC was in Dubai last year to grace the launch of the G-Force Dance Project in the emirate. The actress also went on a “Dubai escapade” by trying many of the emirate’s best dining spots. ICA/Expat Media
