American host Jimmy Fallon asks Elon Musk to “fix” a trending topic on Twitter involving the host in a death hoax.

#RIPJimmyFallon garnered over 12,000 tweets which led ​​several people on the internet to believe that Fallon was dead

The trending topic reportedly started after a bogus Tonight Show post went viral on Twitter.

People started tweeting about Fallon’s death after seeing a message that said, “It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of late night legend, husband, and father of two, Jimmy Fallon. 1923-2022.”

The post also included an old photo of Fallon with his dog and was made to look like an announcement from the official account of the Tonight show.

On the other hand, the host has been confirmed to be alive and well.
