“No matter how far away home is, IKEA invites Filipino expatriates and those curious to try a range of flavour-packed dishes (whether using a spoon and fork or with hands) such as beef pares, Filipino-style barbecue chicken, bistek Tagalog and leche flan,” according to IKEA.

The special Filipino menu is available across all UAE IKEA restaurants starting at Dh25 for main dishes and Dh9 for desserts. A customer service representative told Expatmedia.net that Filipino food will be served from 12pm onwards.

The menu will also include mouth-watering dishes, from chicken menudo to decadent desserts like buko pandan.

“The Filipino community and anyone craving a good meal can visit their closest IKEA restaurant to dig into a variety of oh-so delicious Filipino cuisines,” according to IKEA.

IKEA has several stores in the UAE, including two each in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and one customer collection and ordering post in Al Ain. ICA/Expat Media
