The supermodel expresses her decision to help as she was inspired by fellow model Mica Argañaraz.
Despite her hectic work schedule, she wants to “walk for something” followed by her pledge of donation.
As one of the most sought-after in the modeling industry, Hadid has walked in numerous shoes this month including Michael Kors in New York and Vivienne Westwood in Paris.
Aside from the Ukraine relief efforts, Hadid plans to also aid her homeland in Palestine through her earnings.
“Our eyes and hearts must be open to all human injustice. May we all see each other as brothers and sisters, beyond politics, beyond race, beyond religion. At the end of the day, innocent lives pay for war– not leaders,” she concluded in her post. KSO/Expat Media
