FLORIDA – Crocs is giving away thousands of pairs of shoes to US healthcare workers on the frontlines of Covid-19.
Crocs CEO Andrew Rees said 10,000 new pairs will be given for free on its website www.crocs.com every day until stocks last.
Healthcare workers can claim a free pair on its site. On Saturday (April 4), Crocs said it has met the daily limit and advised registrants to check back at 8pm ET on Monday to make a request.
Crocs is also planning to donate 100,000 more pairs to various hospitals and healthcare “to get as much product as possible into the hands of those who need it most”.
“These workers have our deepest respect, and we are humbled to be able to answer their call and provide whatever we can to help during this unprecedented time,” Rees said. BEI/Expat Media
