Ed Sheeran to take over Burj Khalifa on November 9

Superstar Ed Sheeran is going to light up the Dubai skyline with a striking Burj Khalifa projection on Thursday night (November 9) ahead of his concert tickets going on general sale.

The “Shape of You” singer and songwriter will play two consecutive nights on January 19 and 20 at the Dubai Sevens Stadium, with a much-anticipated general ticket sale opening at 10am on Friday (November 10) on edsheerandxb.com and platinumlist.net.

The performance will be the largest combined open-air concert ever to take place in the emirate, featuring his signature 360-degree revolving stage format and providing fans with an immersive close-up experience with the British singer-songwriter.

Sheeran’s visit is a long-awaited one since his last Dubai based performance in 2017 and a brief stint on the Asian continent in 2019.

His Middle East and Europe tour follows Sheeran’s hugely successful USA leg, which set record-breaking attendance at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium and New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, where the talented performer secured the largest single-day concert attendance in US history. ICA/Expat Media
