DUBAI – The Dubai Global Connect, a 1 million square metre wholesale market for food, fashion and furniture, will open in Dubai South.
The Dubai Global Connect is a joint venture of Investment Corporation of Dubai and Dubai South to create a city within a city around the Expo 2020 site.
The wholesale market will also serve as a permanent showroom open to qualified retail buyers and designers, manufacturers, and industry professionals
Construction is currently underway, with a visitor centre opening later this year.
The first phase of the market will comprise of a 400,000sqm trade centre with boutique offices, an innovation hub, and a Smart Service Centre for service providers. ICA/Expat Media
