Cooling operations are underway after a fire broke out in a residential building in Dubai Sports City early on Monday (September 25).
The fire broke out in Elite 6 building, with emergency personnel from Al Barsha Fire Station receiving an alert at 4:06am.
Firefighters were seen at the scene by 4:12am, with residents posting videos of ranging flames engulfing several floors of the high-rise building as emergency personnel worked to control the blaze.
The fire was brought under control by 5:23am, and was extinguished by 6:38am, according to Dubai Civil Defence.
There were no injuries or fatalities reported in the incident, and residents were evacuated to safety. ICA/Expat Media
