Dubai launches vending machines to give free bread to needy residents

The Mohammed bin Rashid Global Centre for Endowment Consultancy (MBRGCEC) announced the commencement of the Bread for All program, which aims to assist low-income families and workers by providing free bread at various times of the day.

The effort intends to deliver fresh bread to individuals in need through smart machines installed in various locations. The pre-programmed machines prepare bread and provide it free of charge as part of a modern and sustainable model of charity work.

The project realizes the vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who said, “In the UAE, no one sleeps hungry or in need.”

Bread for All works with Aswaaq to install smart machines at Al Mizhar, Al Warqa’a, Mirdif, Nad Alsheba, Nadd Al Hamar, Al Qouz, and Al Bada’a branches.

The devices are easy to operate. Individuals can get free bread by simply pushing the “order” button. The bread will be dispensed from the machine after it is baked.

The program provides bread to disadvantaged families and laborers while allowing contributors to donate directly through the machine that produces and dispenses the bread wherever it is located.

Individuals can now donate via Dubai Now app or SMS to 3656 for Dh10, 3658 for Dh50, 3659 for Dh100, and 3679 for Dh500.

Donors can also contribute to the initiative by visiting www.mbrgcec.ae and entering their donation amount.

Donors may also contribute to the initiative by setting up the smart machine for a more sustainable donation.

For more information, donors may contact the organizers through email at info@mbrgcec.ae or by phone at 0097147183222. BKM/ Expat Media
