The Northern Runway Rehabilitation project at Dubai International (DXB) commenced on Monday (May 9) and will run until June 22.
The maintenance work will decrease the operation of the world’s busiest international airport to a single runway operation.
The Dubai International Airport expects more than 1,000 flights to arrive and depart per week from Dubai World Central (DWC) to minimize inconveniences during the 45-day period.
“Dubai Airports is working with the airlines, control authorities, commercial and service partners to ensure a smooth and comfortable guest experience for all customers,” DXB said. BKM/ Expat Media
