Global Village will reopen in Dubai on October 14, 2026, for Season 31.
Dubai’s Global Village will reopen on October 14, 2026, for its 31st season, bringing back its international pavilions, entertainment, dining and shopping attractions for more than seven months.
Running under the theme “A More Wonderful World”, Season 31 will continue the destination’s tradition of bringing different cultures together while introducing new experiences aimed at encouraging visitors to return throughout the season.
Global Village has become a major fixture in Dubai’s entertainment calendar since opening in 1997, attracting millions of visitors with cultural pavilions, international food, live performances and shopping.
The new season follows the milestone 30th season, which closed on May 31 after being extended by three weeks to cover the Eid Al Adha holidays. Season 30 was also disrupted by regional tensions, which led to the destination being closed for more than 51 days before reopening on April 20.
Before the disruption, Season 30 featured 30 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, over 3,500 shopping outlets and more than 250 dining experiences. Visitors also watched 40,500 performances by 450 international artists and enjoyed more than 200 rides and games at Carnaval.
Global Village is already preparing its food and beverage offering for the new season, with applications open to businesses under two categories: Restaurant and Coffee Shops and Kiosks and Food Trolleys.
The application deadline is September 16.
Participating food and beverage businesses are offered support covering areas such as customised setups, visa assistance, customs procedures for imported products, storage and electronic payment terminals.
The destination has also served as a launchpad for culinary businesses, giving new concepts an opportunity to test their offerings and established international restaurants a platform to introduce local branches. CAM/Expat Media
