Dubai’s Expo City will have its own new mall next year, the Dubai Media Office announced.
The Expo City Mall will feature more than 190 shops and food and beverage outlets. It will be the first mall in Expo City, and will be located in the Emaar South project. The upcoming mall will cater to more than 5,000 residential units within Emaar South, and more than 400,000 residences within an 8km distance.
Master developer Emaar said Expo City Mall will be smaller than The Dubai Mall and Dubai Hills Mall, but that it will have total leasable area of 385,000 sqft. and more than 1,000 parking spaces.
The mall is close to the Expo 2020 Metro station and will be easily accessible from Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road, Expo Road and Jebel Ali Road. ICA/Expat Media
