Dubai Chamber launches Dubai Smartpreneur Competition

 

DUBAI – The Dubai Startup Hub, an initiative of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, launched the Dubai Smartpreneur Competition on Thursday (September 9).

The competition, now on its sixth cycle, is open to start-ups in the UAE and abroad, offering innovative solutions in the categories of Sustainability, Opportunity and Trade.

A total of Dh150,000 in cash prizes will be given to the top three winners, a four-day bootcamp for the top 30 start-ups and access to investors and business partners.

The top 10 candidates will have an opportunity to pitch live at Expo 2020 Dubai.

Start-ups must submit their entries through the Dubai Startup Hub website by September 30. Entries will be evaluated and shortlisted.

Finalists will be trained and guided before the top three winners are announced at an awards ceremony at Expo 2020 Dubai. ICA/Expat Media
