Dhs18 billion Moon Dubai project could turn UAE into the biggest space tourism hub

The Dhs18 billion Moon Dubai project could soon elevate tourism in the Middle East to a whole new level.

Moon World Resorts Inc. has submitted proposals for the mega project, designed to look exactly as it sounds.

Moon Dubai is unlike any other resort. It is equipped with a spa, nightclub, events center, luxury residences, a “moon shuttle,” and training programs for various space agencies and astronauts worldwide.

The design also resembles the moon, with a gigantic sphere, its ‘lunar surface’ surrounded by a ‘lunar colony.’

This lunar surface is designed to welcome 2.5 million visitors to experience space tourism from the ground in Dubai.

The 224-meter infrastructure is designed to be constructed within 48 months. It will be able to accommodate about 10 million tourists yearly, putting Dubai on the global stage as a hub for affordable space tourism. BKM/ Expat Media
