Irish pop-rock band The Corrs have cancelled their scheduled Abu Dhabi concert, with fans set to receive full refunds.
The band was due to perform at Etihad Arena on September 27, but announced the cancellation on Wednesday (August 19), citing “unforeseen circumstances beyond our control”.
“We’re very sorry to share that, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, our show at Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi on 27th September has been cancelled,” The Corrs said.
The band did not provide further details about the reason for the cancellation. No replacement date has been announced.
“We know many of you were planning to join us and hope to see you again soon. Refunds will be available from the original point of purchase,” the band said.
The cancellation comes amid a series of major concert and festival changes in Abu Dhabi, including the cancellation of performances by Christina Aguilera and the OFFLIMITS Music Festival. CAM/Expat Media
