Chevrolet, Cadillac, Jeep recalled in UAE over defects

DUBAI – A number of defective Chevrolet, Cadillac and Jeep models are being recalled in the UAE over problems with the clutch and power steering.

At least 97 Jeep Cherokee KL vehicles made in 2014 are being recalled over a defective clutch that could cause loss of motive power when driving, according to Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Middle East.

According to the dealership, the affected vehicles will be repaired free of cost.

Meanwhile, General Motors said it is recalling a “limited number” of Camaro, Chevrolet Corvette, Cadilla ATS and CTS made in 2017.

The distributor said that the affected vehicles have defective power steering. It added, however, that all vehicles are still safe to drive.

Motorists with the vehicles being recalled were asked to contact Trading Enterprises on the hotline 600 534441 or General Motors on toll free number 800 0200257. ICA/Expat Media
