Broadcaster Mon Tulfo arrested over cyber libel complaint

 

MANILA – Ramon “Mon” Tulfo has been arrested by police over a cyber libel complaint, the Filipino broadcaster confirmed to media.

Tulfo said the complaint was filed by former justice secretary Vitaliano Aguirre. The Manila Police District also confirmed Tulfo’s arrest on Wednesday (May 18).

Tulfo, 75, remains under police custody at the Manila City Hall detachment. Police have yet to disclose details about the complaint filed against him.

Tulfo is the brother of senatorial candidate Raffy Tulfo, and TV personalities Erwin and Ben Tulfo. ICA/Expat Media
