Billionaire behind Fortnite plays more than 1,600 games anonymously

LOS ANGELES – Epic Games’ billionaire CEO Tim Sweeney has revealed that he has played more than 1,600 games without anyone knowing it was him.

“I just go play randomly with groups of people, and they have no idea who I am and we just have a good time together,” Sweeney told media network NPR.

Sweenery, who founded and runs Epic Games, the maker of popular online game Fortnite, said he enjoys playing against random people.

“I have a name that nobody knows,” he said. “I just go play randomly with groups of people, and they have no idea who I am and we just have a good time together.”

Fortnite has been Epic Games’ biggest video game hit, which spurred the creation of a digital store Epic Games Store.

Epic has made Sweeney richer by $5.3 billion, according to a Forbes report. ICA/Expat Media
