Big Brands sale in Dubai: shoes for Dh33 and what we found for Dh2 and Dh5

DUBAI – The Concept Big Brands Carnival sale is back in Dubai with a Christmas and New Year Sale at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Your resident shopper from Expatmedia.net headed to the venue to check out what’s on sale on the first day of the sale on Tuesday (December 15). Here’s how it went:

Hall number 5 was looking cavernous as we checked out the venue. We admit we missed the crowd. On the up side, organisers really made it a point to have plenty of extra space so shoppers don’t bump into each other in this time of social distancing.

Entrance is free and the sale is open until December 19. The sale includes fashion wear, footwear, beauty products, watches and fashion accessories, fragrances and more.

Fragrances topped our list of gift items to pick up, with prices starting from Dh5 for body spray (guys would probably love the Black Panther or Captain America body spray).

We also spotted scented lavender candles for Dh2. Not bad if you’re looking for Zen.

We saw shirts, shorts, sweatshirts and hoodies for Dh15 at Splash. Meanwhile, Lacoste left us drooling with polo shirts for Dh199.

There were rows and rows of ladies’ footwear from various brands, including Steve Madden, at Dh99 for three pairs. That works out to Dh33 per pair!

Branded perfumes and sunglasses were also a steal, with discounts of up to 80 percent. We were tempted to buy bottles of Davidoff Coolwater for only Dh55.

We also spotted some Barbie accessories and beauty items for Dh10, and some Disney office supplies starting at Dh2. We could hear Elsa saying, “Let it go” as we left without picking up anything at the end of this shopping exercise. MFDS/Expat Media
