Avengers’  Jeremy Renner broke 30 bones in accident with snow plow

“Avengers” star Jeremy Renner revealed that he broke more than 30 bones after he was accidentally run over by a snow plow on New Year’s Day.

The accident left Renner, who plays superhero archer Hawkeye in the Avengers, in the hospital for more than two weeks. He shared an update of his condition on Saturday, saying his broken bones “will mend, grow stronger”.

Renner celebrated his 52nd birthday in the hospital after snow plow accident. On New Year’s day, he was injured run over by a snow plow while cleaning a driveway near his Nevada home.

According to a 911 call log, Renner was “completely crushed under a large snowcat (vehicle)” and that he had “extreme (difficulty) breathing.” It also said the actor’s “right side of his chest is collapsed – upper torso is crushed.”
