DUBAI – Tech giant Apple has warned users of selected iPhone and iPad models to update their software before November 3 or risk losing internet access.
The affected models are iPhone 5, iPhone 4, first-generation iPad Mini, fourth-generation iPad and older iPad models.
Apple said users must download the iOS 10.3.4 for these devices or they will be locked out of features that work with the internet, such as email, AppStore and web browsing.
iPhone 5 users have reported receiving messages on their phone to remind them about the iOS update.
Users who miss the deadline can still update their iOS, but must plug their device to a Mac or PC in order to update their operating system. ICA/Expat Media
