A father tied up and handed over his son to the police, who ran away after stabbing his teacher.
The son allegedly stabbed his teacher with a dagger in the Algerian town of Talent, in Batna, before fleeing and disappearing.
The Naqous Court of the Batna Judicial Council revealed, in a statement, that the teacher was stabbed by a dagger in the back by a fourth-year intermediate pupil, according to local media.
According to the statement, the teacher met with the student’s guardian at school and informed him of his son’s inappropriate behavior in class.
During the rest period in the schoolyard, the student advanced from behind the teacher until she reached the administration office and stabbed her with a wooden-handled dagger in her back.
The EMS transported the teacher to Naqous Hospital before moving to Batna Hospital.
The appropriate authorities launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident, as early inquiries revealed that the teacher had expelled the student from class due to his recurrent issues. BKM/ Expat Media
