DUBAI – Etihad Airways has announced that passengers from Philippines, India and five other countries will need to present a negative Covid-19 PCR test taken not more than 72 hours prior to their flight in order to board the aircraft to the UAE.
The seven countries are:
“If you are travelling to Abu Dhabi from Azerbaijan, Egypt, India, Lebanon, Philippines, Russia or Sri Lanka, you will be required to show a negative Covid-19 PCR test result received within 72 hours before departure from an approved clinic,” according to Etihad.
Test results must be valid within 72 hours of your trip and issued by an approved medical facility.

Other airlines have also announced mandatory Covid-19 test results for passengers from certain countries. Here’s all you need to know:
