72-hour Covid-19 test result mandatory for Filipinos, Indians, 5 other nationalities on Etihad flights to UAE

 

DUBAI – Etihad Airways has announced that passengers from Philippines, India and five other countries will need to present a negative Covid-19 PCR test taken not more than 72 hours prior to their flight in order to board the aircraft to the UAE.

The seven countries are:
Azerbaijan
Egypt
India
Lebanon
Philippines
Russia
Sri Lanka

“If you are travelling to Abu Dhabi from Azerbaijan, Egypt, India, Lebanon, Philippines, Russia or Sri Lanka, you will be required to show a negative Covid-19 PCR test result received within 72 hours before departure from an approved clinic,” according to Etihad.

Test results must be valid within 72 hours of your trip and issued by an approved medical facility.

Air Arabia flights to UAE

Passengers from these destinations are required to present negative PCR test not older than 72 hours before flight:

Afghanistan
Bangladesh
Egypt
India
Nepal
Pakistan
Sudan

Air India flights to UAE

All passengers must present a negative PCR test result not older than 96 hours before flight

* Children below 12 years old exempted

Emirates flight to UAE

Passengers from these destinations are required to present negative PCR test not older than 96 hours before flight:

Afghanistan
Bangladesh
Egypt
India
Iran
Nigeria
Pakistan
Philippines
Russian Federation
Sudan
Tanzania
US (Dallas Fort Worth, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and passengers on connecting flight from California, Florida and Texas)
