DUBAI – The world’s tallest observation wheel, Ain Dubai, will be open to the public next year in time for the Expo 2020, developer Meraas revealed on Wednesday (April 17).
When completed, Ain Dubai will be the tallest structure of its kind at 250 metres high. The highest Ferris wheel is currently located in Las Vegas at 167m high. In the UK, the popular London Eye stands 135m high.
Ain Dubai boast permanent spoke cables, the first time that a modern observation structure is created as one complete wheel.
Ain Dubai is set to become the main attraction on Bluewaters Island, a hub of activity featuring entertainment, retail, hospitality and residential options. GAD/Expat Media
