DUBAI – The Dubai World Cup has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, organisers announced on Sunday (March 22).
The world’s richest horse race was due to celebrate its 25th anniversary at the Meydan Racecourse on Saturday.
The event will now be postponed to next year, organisers said, adding that the decision to postpone the event was “to safeguard the health of all participants”. ICA/Expat Media
