DUBAI – Five of the biggest Filipino artists of the ‘90s are coming to Dubai for a musical nostalgia in December.
Wency Cornejo of After Image, Glenn Jacinto of Teeth, Lei Bautista of Prettier Than Pink, Cooky Chua of Color It Red and Naldy Padilla of Orient Pearl will headline the concert called ‘90s Upload at the Dubai World Trade Center on December 28. The Wishfuls will also be back in Dubai to open the concert.
Producer La Verdad said the concert aims to “bring back memories of dekada nobenta to OFWs and reminisce the past for titos, titas and batang ‘90s of the UAE”.
Habang May Buhay singer Cornejo is expected to belt out his string of hits, including Next in Line, while Teeth’s Jacinto will rock the crowd to tunes of Prinsesa and Laklak.
Bautista is expected to sing her group’s popular song Cool Ka Lang, while Paglisan singer Chua and Pagsubok singer Padilla will also complete the ensemble with their biggest hits.
