DUBAI – The Laguna Waterpark in Dubai’s La Mer beachfront development was temporarily closed beginning on Sunday (February 3).
According to the management, the waterpark will remain closed for three weeks due to annual maintenance. The waterpark will reopen on February 21.
The waterpark is one of the latest attractions in La Mer, a leisure destination in Jumeirah 1 that includes beachfront restaurants, cafes and shops.
The Laguna Waterpark will be open from 10am to 6pm daily when it resumes operations. The waterpark features five slides: the Constrictor, Free Fall, Mad Racer, Manta group raft ride and The Loop.
It also has a Lazy River and infinity pool, Aqua Play, Splash Pad, and a child-friendly rain fortress. The park has the region’s only WaveOz 180 FloRider surf machine, which is one of only three in the world.
The surf attraction offers a 180-degree ride experience for up to four surfers. Tickets for a full-day pass start at Dh99 for online purchases before 11:30am. Tickets cost Dh125 at the door and are free for children under the age of two. GAD/Expat Media
