DUBAI – UAE-inspired preserved roses unique to Petals by Carmille are in high demand as UAE National Day nears, the Dubai-based flower shop’s proprietor said.
Ahead of the December 2 celebrations, Petals by Carmille’s uniquely designed preserved rose in the colours of the UAE flag has surged in popularity as shoppers looked for unique ways to mark the founding of the UAE.
“Just yesterday, one buyer bought several dozen,” said Marycel Molina Roxas of Petals by Carmille. The preserved rose retails at Dh250 and Dh399 at the Petals by Carmille shop in Al Ghurair Centre in Deira and at its shop in Mena Plaza Hotel in Al Barsha.
Petals by Carmille supplies its own variants of the preserved roses, which also come in various colours. The roses are preserved using a unique technique that allows them to look in eternal bloom for up to three years. GAD/Expat Media
