DUBAI – The UAE embassy in Paris issued a travel advisory to Paris, urging residents to take necessary precaution after local authorities issued a severe weather warning.
Weather warnings have been put in place across the northern half of France as Storm Freya hits, bringing with it winds with a force of 150km/hr.
The General Command of France police issued a severe storm warning, while forecasters said 44 places are on orange weather alert as Freya hit northern France.
In a statement, the UAE Embassy in Paris said that citizens should take the necessary precautions and reduce their movement during the storm.
The embassy also listed a list of places likely to be hit by the storm, and urged Emiratis to avoid visiting these areas:
