DUBAI – A 32-year-old Tunisian man is on trial for allegedly groping his Filipina co-worker at a shopping mall in Dubai.
A verdict is expected on January 29.
The Filipina, 40, said the incident happened last July as she was leaving the shop at the end of her shift.
“I was shocked at his behaviour as he groped me for a second time last July. The next day, I alerted management,” she testified in court.
Her Filipina manager also testified that the victim initially thought it was unintentional but that when the groping happened again it became clear that the intention was to abuse the Filipina. DAJ/Expat Media
